Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D launches June 19 in North America

By Jack Taylor – 12 April 2011

Nintendo of America has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will launch for Nintendo 3DS on June 19.

Little over a month since Satoru Iwata confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D would launch worldwide in June, Nintendo of America has stepped forward to reveal the North American launch date for the title.

Ocarina of Time 3D is a completely remastered version of the original best games ever, which has seen re-releases on GameCube (twice) and the Wii's Virtual Console, but will now launch fresh-faced for Nintendo 3DS on Sunday, June 19.

To make the wait even more unbearable for Zelda lovers, Nintendo has also confirmed that the title will come bundled with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Master Quest, an even more difficult version of the original game with revamped dungeons, new puzzles and tougher enemies.

Specific launch dates for Europe and Japan have not yet been revealed.

Surely that's old news by now...
