Tetris 99 Maximus Cup to feature Pokémon Legends: Arceus theme

The next Tetris 99 Maximus Cup will feature a Pokémon Legends: Arceus theme, ahead of the game's launch later this month.

As with previous Maximus Cup events, Tetris 99's 28th Maximus Cup will task players with collecting at least 100 event points in order to unlock a new theme. This time around, it's a Pokémon Legends: Arceus theme, with the new game launching a few days after the end of the event.

The event will run from 20 January at 23:00 PT until 24 January at 22:59 PT. In the UK, that translates to a start date of 21 January at 07:00 GMT and an end date of 25 January at 06:59 GMT.

Tetris 99 is free to download and play online for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
