Nintendo Direct: Terry Bogard to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

By Jack Taylor – 5 September 2019

Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard is joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in November, with more DLC packs also confirmed.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans are spoilt for choice after the latest Nintendo Direct, which shared a large amount of information about the game's forthcoming updates - some of which are now available.

Banjo-Kazooie, previously announced as the third fighter in the Fighters Pass, is now available alongside new music, spirits, and a new stage; the game has also been updated to Version 5, with new features including customisable Mii Fighters and the return of the Home-Run Contest.

Terry Bogard of Fatal Fury fame has also been announced as the fourth fighter of the Fighters Pass, and will launch in November, leaving just one more fighter in the Fighters Pass, due to be released before the end of February 2020.

However, Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that beyond the available DLC fighters - Piranha Plant and the five Fighters Pass additions - more fighters will be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate following the conclusion of the Fighters Pass.

More costumes for Mii Fighters have also been released as DLC, including Sans from Undertale and Mystical Ninja's Goemon.

Surely that's old news by now...
