Super Pokémon Scramble revealed for Nintendo 3DS

By Jack Taylor – 17 June 2011

Nintendo has revealed Super Pokémon Scramble, the sequel to Pokémon Rumble on WiiWare, for Nintendo 3DS.

The game, which will be developed by Ambrella, the same team behind Pokémon Rumble, will launch in Japan on July 28 as a Nintendo 3DS retail title.

Unlike its prequel, which included only Pokémon from the first and fourth generations of the Pokémon series, Super Pokémon Scramble will include Pokémon from all five generations, though it is unknown if all known Pokémon will be present.

As in Pokémon Rumble, players take control of various toy Pokémon in order to pass through stages, defeating and attemtping to collect other toy Pokémon in the process.

The game will make use of local two-player multiplayer and will also use StreetPass to allow players to collect more toy Pokémon while taking their Nintendo 3DS around with them.

We'll bring you more on this title as we get it.

Surely that's old news by now...
