Super Mario Party update adds extensive online options

A major update for Super Mario Party has added online functionality to the game's two Party modes and 70 of its minigames.

Well, this one came out of nowhere: Nintendo has released a free update for Super Mario Party - originally released in October 2018 - adding even more online functionality to the game. Players can now take the Mario Party and Partner Party modes online, as well as 70 of its 80 minigames.

Between two and four players with Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions can take part online in the main Mario Party board game mode, or in Partner Party where four players form two duos. Additionally, 70 of the game's 80 minigames are playable online.

The free update is now available.
