SEGA has confirmed that Shinobi will launch for the Nintendo 3DS later this year following a series of early reveals.
The existence of a Shinobi title for the Nintendo 3DS was first leaked through the game's developer, Griptonite Games, who confirmed that one of their employees has created new levels for the title.
This was shortly followed by the title being shown on the front cover of the newest issue of Nintendo Power along with confirmation of Sonic Generations for the 3DS.
Now, SEGA has officially confirmed that Shinobi exists - and that it will launch worldwide this September.
The first screenshots of the game in action - and its logo and box art - have also been unveiled.
Surely that's old news by now...
