Rune Factory 5 to get special Earthmate Edition at launch

A special edition package for Rune Factory 5 called the Earthmate Edition has been revealed, with goodies including an artbook, SteelBook, and more.

Rune Factory 5 launches for Nintendo Switch on 22 March 2022, and publisher XSEED Games has revealed the Earthmate Edition, now available to pre-order, with a bunch of extra bonuses for those who pick it up.

Included in the box are:

• Rune Factory 5 game card in a SteelBook case
• Softcover artbook with more than 70 pages of illustrations and concept art
• 'Melodies of Norad' soundtrack CD with 15 songs from the Rune Factory series
• DLC code for 13 in-game costumes based on Rune Factory 4 marriage candidates

The Earthmate Edition will retail for $79.99 in the United States, while the standalone game - available in both physical and digital formats - will retail for $59.99. Fans can also buy a Digital Deluxe Edition, including the game and the 13 costumes from the Earthmate Edition, for $69.99.

The Earthmate Edition will also be available in Europe for €79.99 (£64.99 in the UK exclusively at GAME).

Rune Factory 5 launches on 22 March in the Americas and on 25 March in Europe.
