E3: Nintendo reveals Luigi's Mansion 2

By Jack Taylor – 7 June 2011

Nearly ten years after Luigi's Mansion launched for the Nintendo GameCube, it finally receives a well-deserved sequel - on Nintendo 3DS.

There's been much talk of a sequel ever since it was revealed that a Luigi's Mansion tech demo was developed for the Nintendo 3DS.

Today, Nintendo confirmed that Luigi's Mansion 2 - a working title - would launch for the Nintendo 3DS next year and would include multiple different mansions.

Instead of simply flashing a light at a ghost in order to stun in, Luigi will need to use a strobe light instead - and different ghosts require different ways of being sucked up.

Surely that's old news by now...
