Nintendo has released new gameplay footage of Animal Crossing for Nintendo 3DS, showing off some of the game's new features.
It seems as though Animal Crossing may still be quite a long way away: the title received no real mention during Nintendo's E3 media presentation and no additional details were released for it.
A new gameplay trailer was released, however, which tells us a fair bit about the title which was previously unknown.
As we learnt last year, you move into a new town to take the role of mayor, and it now seems you have a secretary who will follow you around at certain times (perhaps if there's a particular job that needs doing).
House exteriors look to be customisable (beyond the colour of your roof) for the first time, with various designs - and even a tent - being shown off.
Characters can now change their trousers and shoes as well as their shirts, which explains why characters are taller now, and they can even go for a swim in the sea and dive down, possibly for seashells or treasures.
Surely that's old news by now...
