Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has added new monsters, a new region, and another Horizon Zero Dawn crossover in its latest update.
The latest free update to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, which takes the game up to Version 12, adds a number of new monsters and items alongside the usual technical tweaks and adjustments.
Following the addition of the renowned monster Zinogre in Iceborne's initial release, a new variant - Stygian Zinogre - has been added, harnessing the dragon elemental instead of the lightning elemental, and rewarding its slayers with new materials to craft more powerful equipment.
The Guiding Lands have also been expanded with a new Tundra Region, featuring monsters such as Barioth and Viper Tobi-Kadachi, while the Tempered Ruiner Nergigante elder dragon has also been added alongside a new hunt for a dangerous mature form of Xeno'jiva.
Coming up from 12 December (04:00 PT), a new collab quest with Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will introduce new weapons, equipment, gear, and materials until its end on 26 December (16:00 PT).
