Monster Hunter Rise will get its first free update in April, adding numerous monsters, with a new demo launching on 12 March.
Monster Hunter Rise was featured in March's Monster Hunter Digital Event, and alongside new footage of the game was news of its first post-launch update. Due in April, the update will include the chameleon-like monster Chameleos, among several others.
Revealed during the event were Switch Skills - which allow players to mix up regular attacks and Silkbind attacks on each weapon type - as well as dynamic difficulty scaling for multiplayer modes, meaning difficulty levels will change automatically as players join and leave hunts.
Also announced were: a new limited-time demo launching on 12 March, featuring heightened difficulty and a Magnalamo hunt; a Hunter Connect feature, letting players tag hunts with objectives and play styles; the ability to 'like' other hunters after completing a quest; and a camera feature.
