Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, the third title in the Hyrule Warriors series, has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2.
Announced during the Switch 2's Nintendo Direct, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment tells the story that leads into The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, in which Princess Zelda is transported back to an ancient Hyrule.
Gameplay showcased in the first trailer shows Zelda, King Rauru, and his sister Mineru as playable characters. It also showcases more of ancient Hyrule now shown in Tears of the Kingdom, including a Hyrule Castle of old. More information has yet to be revealed.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment launches for Nintendo Switch 2 this winter.
