By Jack Taylor – 15 June 2021

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, the Wii U exclusive released in 2014, is coming to current-generation platforms later this year.

Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct for E3 2021 that Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water would be making its way to Nintendo Switch later in the year; shortly after, Koei Tecmo announced released for additional platforms, including PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

This enhanced version of the Wii U original - released in Japan in 2014 and elsewhere in 2015 - will feature improved visuals and a new Photo Mode, as well as new costumes for the game's main characters.

The game - which will again be released under the Project Zero moniker in Europe - launches for all platforms later this year.
