Donkey Kong's 2010 classic makes its return on its third Nintendo platform, with even more bells and whistles.
Originally released for Wii in 2010 and followed up with a Nintendo 3DS port in 2013, Donkey Kong Country Returns lands on Nintendo Switch today with a new high-definition port.
Players take Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong around Donkey Kong Island following the invasion of the Tiki Tak Tribe, who have hypnotised the island's animals into doing their bidding and stealing the Kongs' banana stash.
While the game is faithful to the Wii original, it also includes all of the extra content and features from the Nintendo 3DS version - namely, a new world with eight additional levels, and an easier mode with more hearts and items alongside the game's original difficulty mode.
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is now available for Nintendo Switch.
