SUPPORT US ON KO-FI!The Last of Us Part I, a full remaster of the original game and and the standalone story Left Behind, has been announced for PlayStation 5.
The announcement of The Last of Us Part I rounded off the live Summer Game Fest event, although the game's existence had leaked earlier in the day. It was announced alongside other The Last of Us news, including the HBO Max television series and an upcoming standalone multiplayer entry.
The Last of Us Part I features full remasters of The Last of Us and prequel Left Behind, both rebuilt from the ground up for PlayStation 5, with a PC version also in the works. The new version includes updated gameplay and controls, more accessibility features, and PS5 tech such as 3D audito, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers.
The Last of Us Part I launches for PlayStation 5 on 2 September and is now available to pre-order.
